Career Paths
Administrative Support
DLI's team of administrative professionals are charged with the critical tasks requires
for successful support of our operations. At DLI, our administrative staff is constantly
interacting with internal and external customers of the organization. The ability
to work well as a team and with all types of people is paramount to success.
DLI's administrative support team fulfills a variety of functional areas and offers
many opportunities. All DLI administrative support positions are located at our
Oakdale, MN headquarters.
Finance and Accounting
DLI's finance positions are charged with providing analysis, reporting, billing,
and payroll functions for the organization. Prospective career positions within
the finance and accounting department include payroll and billing specialist, accounts
payable, cost and account analyst, tax administration, and compliance.
Human Resources
Our human resources personnel provide a wide range of services for DLI. Recruiting,
retention, training, talent management, and organizational development are some
of the strategic functions of the department. Other responsibilities include employee
relations, benefits administration, and management support.
Safety and Risk Management
DLI's safety department focuses primarily on ensuring a safe work conditions exist
along with the right tools for our employees to do their jobs safely. Employees
are DLI's greatest assets. As such, we take safety and training seriously. Coaching
and mentoring our drivers and dockworkers in safely performing their duties is extremely
important at DLI.
Maintenance Support
The maintenance support staff at DLI is critical in maintaining our fleet of equipment.
Their main function is to coordinate repairs, routine service, and ensure our equipment
is safe and compliant. DLI maintains 24 hour maintenance support for our drivers
to ensure all issues are taken care of in a timely manner.
Sales and Marketing
At DLI we believe that a strong sales & marketing team is the driving force
behind any successful business venture. Our innovative approach to sales and marketing
allows us to adapt to the changes in the economy, marketplace factors, and the every
changing needs of the consumer. The objective is not simply to increase revenue

Brokerage
Our brokerage department is a non-asset based business unit. They provide transportation
solutions for their clients by partnering with a network of carriers. Transportation
brokerage is a fast-paced and dynamic operation focused on building relationships
and meeting our clients' transportation needs.
Operations Management and Support
DLI's operations management group provides the essential planning, supervision,
and leadership of all operations. The operations staff is responsible for meeting
all customer service requirements, managing hundreds of freight loads per day, and
over 100 warehouse customers.
Our operations group offers a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Innovation and
creativity are required by our operations group to achieve results for our customers.
Aside from a professional work environment, our operations staff will use leading
edge technology to help accomplish objectives.
